Baby's First Con Baby's First Con

Wizard World
Baby's First Con!

This is the con that starter it all. We were young, ambitious, and full of spunk. We had a custom booth built for us so that we could show off Frameless in style. And you know what, we rocked the house!

We weren't selling, we weren't even close to that. We still had a lot to do for proper manufacturing, and we needed money. But we didn't care, we were there to teach everyone about Frameless, the secret weapon that was going to stand up to "Big Frame" and put an end to it's tyrannical reign. We chewed bubble gum, we took some names, and when we were all out of bubble gum, well, let's just say we kicked a few butts.

We really needed to go to this con. not as guests, but as exhibitors, with a booth, so that we could show Frameless off to the world. We had a great idea, at least we thought so, but we needed to know if anyone else agreed, if it would sell. And the response was overwhelming. The world wanted Frameless. We had a ton of con goers joining us in the booth, checking out our displays, marveling over the design, and pledging their support to our cause. We also had a slew of artists, both local to Las Vegas, and from out of town, who grew excited at the prospect of Frameless. We got to hear why they wanted us to succeed, through that, we knew that we had to...for us, and for them.

Wizard World was also where we had our first taste of criticism. Up until then, we had heard only positive. From our family, friends, and close acquaintances we had been showered with praise, and while that certainly fueled us to keep going, it wasn't real world testing. That came from a few hard boiled con goers and artists who were keen to tell us that we had a great idea, but it wasn't quite finished yet.

While we were positive that we were going to go into our Kickstarter and knock it out of the park, we had no idea that our journey, one with ups and downs, was just beginning.
