Art prints, posters, photos, and comic books come in all shapes and sizes.  From small, 4x6 collectible postcards, to massive, 27x41 movie posters, virtually everything you’re ever going to put on your wall is going to be a different size.  Even sizes that you figured would be standard, such as a 24x36 poster, will be slightly or shorter than the listed size.  That’s because printing companies have what’s called “cutting tolerance”, which can shave off up to 1/16 of an inch, or more, depending on the company standards.  In reality, there are very few exact standard sizes in the paper industry.

Traditional frames get around this issue by offering standard sizes as well as mats that can fit inside, cutting off part of your work, and rarely being an ideal fit for your display.  Many times, the frame and mat can be so big that they reduce the impact of what you’re trying to show off.

Frameless, however, is designed to be a perfect fit for everything and anything you want to display.  And because there are very few standard sizes, soon we’ll be debuting Frameless Customs.

Unlike traditional framing shops, which charge you exorbitant fees for having something custom framed (haven’t we all gone to a framing shop for a simple quote only to nearly faint at the ridiculous estimate?) we’re going to offer Frameless Customs for a single, low price on top of the cost of the kit.  We want you to put everything on your wall, and collect even more amazing artwork, so why pay more for custom when you don’t have to.
